Baby Angel Progress- Week 26

This week as a pretty good one.  On Saturday hubby and I had a very successful yard sale and got rid of a bunch of stuff…we can thank my “nesting” instincts and hubby great selling skills.  Other then that this week was pretty low and I got to relax and bake and cook a lot, its been nice.  Oh, and look….theres a Night Fury in my photo!!

I get updates from Baby Center emailed me to each week on the progress of the baby and this week was the most surprising…She will be here before we know it!!!

“This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (about the size of a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She’s sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby’s brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don’t bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle”

How far along? 26 Weeks starting on September 9th, 2015

Total weight gain/loss: currently weigh 140 lbs, started at 114 lbs…trying not to stress about my weight gain so I may take this question out for the rest of the pregnancy…seeing the numbers stresses me out even thought I know it shouldn’t!

Maternity clothes? Yes, only shorts and a shirt at the moment but I am going to be online shopping for winter clothes today actually.

Stretch marks? Yes, same ones on my hips, nothing new and they haven’t gotten worst (thank goodness)

Sleep: This week has been pretty good.  All week I have been able to sleep in till at least 9am (Espy is my alarm clock!)  Although, I did have a nightmare this week but I haven’t had one in a long, long time so thats okay.  For some reason all my nightmares have to do with dead people and funerals and having to move their dead bodies or them moving on their own…IDK, freaky twisted  stuff…

Best moment this week: This week has been pretty calm (which I am thankful for).  As I said above on Saturday hubby and I had a killer yardsale that did awesome and I fee so much relief and stress gone since we are decluttering and getting rid of stuff and making room for the baby.

I went on a bit of a pumpkin baking spree this week.  I baked pumpkin bread and pumpkin cheesecake.  My baking skills are on point recently because both turned out AMAZING!

Maybe in a later post I will post the recipes for them, but holy moly they turned out bomb!!!

Labor Signs: None.

Symptoms: Same as before, I think I am just handling it better and it is becoming the “norm”.  Although, i think I was in a little bit more pain in my stomach from stretching.  A lot of people say that the first baby is the hardest and boy do I believe them.  This hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy so far because of the nausea still there really bad but I am thankful that it isn’t worst then it is because I know it can be so so much worst….

Belly Button in or out? In…but I give it 2 weeks and it will be out….so weird haha

Wedding rings on or off? Off

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy yet I find myself more emotional now….dang pregnancy hormones…

Looking forward to: I’m looking forward to our appointment next week and hearing her heart beat…even thought I am pretty sure she will make me get my blood drawn…. and also my baby shower that is in 2 weeks!!! I am super excited for that, hubby and I have worked really hard on it and we hope it turns out great!!!

Thanks for reading

Love Always, Miyuki
